PAVI-PANELS is a patented
(United States Patent# 5,215,805), architecturally designed roofing
system installed in a panelized form. The panels are designed to
simulate cement tile without sacrificing appearance.
Pavi-Panels
is made up of a basic core of EPS with densities available from
1 lb. up to and including 2.5 lb. Thicknesses from 4" to 12" allow
accommodation of a wide range of "R" values. Sizes available range
from 4'x8' to 4'x10' panels with the most common size being 4'x8'x4"
thick.
Contoured
panels are mechanically fastened to the roof deck and coatings are
applied on the jobsite. Pavi-Panels is suggested for use only on
pitched roofs with a pitch of at least 3 1/2 on 12. Hip and ridge
cuts can be custom fit on the jobsite by any experienced tradesperson.
A static
pressure uplift test performed on Pavi-Panels concluded that the
system successfully achieved -82.5 psf and a momentary load of -150
psf with no visible signs of system failure, meeting ASTM Standard
E-330.
Pavi-Panels
Roofing System conforms to ASTM Standard E-108, making it a Class
A Fire Rated System from Southwest Research Institute, San Antonio,
TX.
Pavi-Panels
Roofing System also conforms to Dade County Protocol PA-100 test
procedure for wind and wind driven rain resistance of discontinuous
roof systems, and Dade County Protocol PA-114; test procedures for
roof system assemblies in the South Florida Building Code Jurisdiction.
Pavi-Panels
affords the selective buyer an alternative to conventional roofing,
including energy efficiency, without sacrificing architectural design.
A
genuine Pavi-PanelsÒ Roofing System is guaranteed to be free from
defects for a period of five years. See Limited Warranty for detailed
